Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 (Friday)

KESARI CHAPTER 2 MOVIE DAY 1 (FRIDAY) BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

Noon Update (2 PM IST): Kesari 2 has shown some growth in the noon shows and has registered an occupancy of around 15-20%. The overall occupancy for the day so far stands at approximately 15%. The film is receiving positive initial reports, and there is a strong possibility that it may witness much better occupancy in the evening and night shows. The Good Friday holiday is also giving the film a boost.

Ideally, the occupancy should have been better. However, Akshay Kumar’s poor run at the box office in recent times might be affecting the film’s opening. Still, we remain hopeful that the film picks up momentum from the evening onwards and challenges the double-digit mark for the day, or possibly even more.

As of now, based on the trend till the noon shows, the film is targeting around ₹8-9 crore net for the day. Stay tuned for more updates!

Morning Update (10:45 AM IST): Kesari Chapter 2 has started its box office journey on a decent note on opening day. The film registered 10-15% occupancy in the morning shows on Friday. If the film shows a positive trend from here on, it can post a decent to solid Day 1 total.

Ideally, considering it’s an Akshay Kumar film, the start should have been better. A 15-20% opening would have been more fitting. Still, the current occupancy isn’t too bad, and if the film picks up through the day, it could still put up a solid weekend total.

As per early morning trends, the film is targeting a Day 1 collection in the range of ₹6-8 crore net.
