Veteran Tamil Rajesh Passes Away At 75; Rajinikanth Mourns Death Of His Close Friend
Actor Rajesh passed away at the age of 75. He has appeared in more than 150 films and was one of the well-known faces of Tamil cinema. The veteran actor dies after being rushed to the hospital after complaining of blood pressure.

Superstar Rajinikanth is deeply saddened by the sudden death of his close friend, veteran actor Rajesh, aka Rajesh Williams, on Thursday. He penned a note on X (formerly Twitter), writing about how the news has left him heartbroken. Rajinikanth shared in Twitter, “The news of the untimely death of my close friend, actor Rajesh, shocks me. It gives me immense pain. A wonderful man, may his soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
Even Radikaa Sarathkumar expressed her deep shock over his sudden death and wrote, “Rajesh’s is an unexpected demise.”

Rajesh made his debut as an actor in the film Aval Oru Soorat Katha. He was also seen in films like Kanni Paruvathile, Thani Maram, Thai Pongal, Naan Naanethaan and Andha 7 Naatkal during the beginning of his career. His film Achamillai Achamillai written and directed by K. Balachander won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil in 1984.
He portrayed the lead in Kanni Paruvathile, which stands out as one of his best performances. Another important movie in his career is Antha 7 Natkal which still has a popular climax. He also appreciated the work of actor-director K. Bhagyaraj and the renowned director K Balachander.
