Nani reveals why he refused to cancel HIT 3 event amid terror attack fallout; says, “Let’s not give the terrorists the satisfaction” : Bollywood News
Telugu star Nani recently addressed the media at the success meet of his latest release HIT: The Third Case (HIT 3) in Hyderabad. Amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor, several events, including IPL matches and public gatherings were either postponed or called off. But Nani made a deliberate decision not to cancel the event for HIT 3, stating that it was important to stand strong in the face of terrorism.

Speaking at the event, the actor shared his thought process behind going ahead with the celebration despite the sensitive national situation. “Let us talk about what’s happening in the country. Operation Sindoor and what followed next. I was speaking to the team today about whether it’s okay to have a success event in a sensitive time like this. But I immediately felt that the situation was sensitive because those people (terrorists) tried to create a problem for us. Our Indian Army responded to them with focus, in a dignified manner,” Nani said.
He further added, “Let’s not give them the satisfaction of even feeling that a success meet in some part of India was cancelled due to what they did. We have the responsibility of making a statement and showing them they weren’t able to touch us. Let’s salute the Indian Armed Forces and respect everyone fighting on the front lines. We are able to leave our homes and function normally only because of them.”
Nani’s stand resonated with many fans online who praised him for combining cinema with a message of strength and unity. Meanwhile, HIT 3, the third installment in the successful HIT franchise, has been receiving positive reviews for its gripping narrative and Nani’s powerful performance. The thriller, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, continues the story of the Homicide Intervention Team as it delves into another complex murder case.
On the other hand, American President Donald Trump has confirmed that India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire after tensions escalated last week. While the diplomatic situation remains fluid, voices like Nani’s are being seen as a show of solidarity with the nation’s armed forces and a reflection of public resilience.
